To Zambia

To Zambia.
I didn't sleep good last night. I only slept for 2 hours and woke up in the morning had my shower and breakfast then we went back to my room moved my stuff to a bigger bag and we checked if i missed anything. I have everything now, the ticket, the Zambian visa, all cleaning stuff and medical soap, lariam tablets for malaria, my vaccinations certificate and converters.
Towards Lusaka !! such a long trip. First I took the train to catch my flight ! worried just as usual couldn't stop thinking about every little thing. I'd like to fly with Emirates airlines for the next few years, the craft is really nice and they got like 500 movies to choose from with some Arabic movies that made Vienna-Dubai connection really easy ! I watched Caramel by Nadine Labki then Alwan El Sama El sab3a, only the food wasn't the best.Free Wireless Internet that's a privilege of Dubai Airport I spent most of my transit hours chatting with my friends back in Egypt and facebooking as always.
Dubai - Johannesburg: I slept 6 hours out of the 8 hours flight as I was extremely tired and then woke up watched Pink Panther 2 I was lucky enough to watch it to the end as only few minutes later we were already landing in Johannesburg !
Just being in Africa feels good though I couldn't get outside the airport but just knowing I am in this part of the world made me happy ! I got 100 Mb wireless connection for 6 euros I think it's reasonable as you can keep them for 12 months so I think I will be using them in my return trip !
Johannesburg - Lusaka : One good thing I think I learnt in this trip was sleeping in flights. before leaving Vienna I was never able to have a single nap in flights!
Finally in Lusaka after 26 hours !! Lusaka airport is the worst airport I saw in my life ! but it wasn't expected to look any better. Unfortunately I only had a copy of my visa so I had to pay 50 dollars for a new visa ! I met The guys from the people's process and we drove towards my accommodation a room in a salvation army compound. the caretaker wasn't there so we had to go to the office stay for a while and then back to my accommodation it's quite a big room with high pre-fabricated ceiling that is not well fixed to the walls. It's very cold at night but at least I have a TV, toilet and a shower. we just put the luggage and then drove to the manager's place for supper but I didn't meet him as he was picking some people but we had to leave early because my compound's gate closes at 21:00.
back home I had to put my sheets and clean every little thing with my disinfectant It's 10:20 pm now I will go to sleep and get ready for my first working day !
P.S : I hope the hot water would be working in the morning .. I really need a shower !
